Perhaps you have heard a radio commercial featuring a spokesman for Camping World, aka Marcus Lemonis. He is the one if you recall that Marcus Lemonis is the CEO of Camping World, and he banned Trump Supporters from being on any Camping World Property, “DON’T SHOP AT MY BUSINESS”!

Guessing now that he realized those comments will cost him 50% of his business, actually more, because, how many liberal Democrats do you know that camp? Being a camper myself, I have never met a liberal around a campfire, they would say it was polluting the atmosphere.

“There’s no doubt that there is probably not many consumers in this country today that are in favor of what has been said in the last couple days and if they are, quite frankly, don’t shop at my business,” said Marcus Lemonis, who is CEO of Camping World and host of CNBC’s “The Profit.”

Lemonis told “Power Lunch” he is “horrified” by what he’s been hearing and seeing from this administration.

He said it’s important that CEOs speak for themselves as individuals on policy and also speak for their companies as it relates to the policy that affects their businesses.

“I’m concerned about certain CEOs dancing on the fence, fearing retaliation or fearing something. It’s scary right now,” Marcus Lemonis said.

Don’t misunderstand, I am glad he is giving from his deep pockets, and maybe this is something he does on a regular basis, but somehow I doubt it.

Here is something he said to a Chicago Business Magazine in 2015.

“I am driven really by this odd fulfillment that I get from helping people,” Lemonis says of his mission to help foundering companies. Though not in a philanthropic way, to be clear. Charity for charity’s sake does not give him that same fuzzy feeling. But funneling $30 million of his estimated fortune of more than $300 million into small businesses in exchange for equity boosts his mood and his balance sheet—though he declines to say by how much. “It’s my version of giving back. But,” he adds, “I expect to get something back as well.”

So given his philosophy on giving to get back, I suspect then this action to match donations up to a certain amount, is just that, an action to get back the Deplorables, you know, the Trump supporters. While it is a smart move on Marcus Lemonis part, and that is what he is known for, his shrewdness, some say harshness, in business, — please do give to Hurricane Relief, but don’t be fooled by this man.
