|This week, FACT filed a complaint against the Democratic National Committee and it’s Chair, Tom Perez. After Perez was elected as DNC Chair, he used his campaign account to transfer funds to a few of his former opponents that had dropped out of the race to support Perez’s chairmanship candidacy. This type of transfer of funds is not allowed by the DNC or an agent working on its behalf, and FACT has asked the FEC to investigate and enforce the law. Allowing this behavior to go unpunished opens the door for a new level of corruption in party elections, namely offering campaign cash for support from former opponents. You can read FACT’s complaint here.
Fox News covered FACT’s complaint, and you can read the article here.
FACT’s complaint was also covered by Politico Morning Score, Townhall, and the Washington Free Beacon.
Last week, I spoke with the Washington Free Beacon about the Director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Richard Cordray, and an interesting email he received in his official email account. You can read the article here.
My comments were also included in this Washington Examiner op-ed.
