Brent Lewis Joins The New York Times as Photo Editor
Brent Lewis of The Washington Post will join a team of editors on the Business Desk, assigning visual coverage of technology, the economy and industry as well as enterprise stories for The Upshot, write Meaghan Looram and Beth Flynn.
We are delighted to welcome Brent Lewis to The Times as a staff editor on the Photo desk. He will join our team of editors on the Business Desk, assigning visual coverage of technology, the economy and industry as well as enterprise stories for The Upshot.
Brent comes to The Times from The Washington Post, and was the senior photo editor at ESPN’s The Undefeated before that. He has worked as a photographer at The Denver Post, The Rockford Register Star in Illinois and The Chillicothe Gazette in Ohio. He is also a founder of Diversify Photo, a groundbreaking resource for photo editors to discover photographers of color.
Brent begins today, Monday, Aug. 6, so please give him a warm welcome.
