It’s come to this: Norm Macdonald has to explain to Fast Company writer why wishing death on POTUS is wrong
Earlier this week, Jacob Wohl offered up this, um, interesting take on Donald Trump’s presidency so far:
Even President Trump's biggest critics admit that he is a good, decent, honest person who loves his country
— Jacob Wohl (@JacobAWohl) November 25, 2018
Pretty sure Trump’s biggest critics don’t admit that, but it does seem pretty safe to say that there are far better ways to refute Wohl’s claim than the route Fast Company pop culture writer Joe Berkowitz opted for:
If Trump died of natural causes tomorrow, partying in the streets wouldn’t level off in intensity until clean through the end of the year. https://t.co/keS5HMKrJo

and god willing you will get to crack that baby open soon-ish

It should go without saying that wishing death on the president — regardless of political party — is a bad look. But apparently it doesn’t for Berkowitz. So Norm Macdonald is saying it:
Joe, please don't do this. Words have consequences and wishing the President dead is not only reckless, it is dead stupid. https://t.co/sEbsDfvinA

Exactly.
Amen, Sir.

Do better, Joe. Given how low you’ve set the bar for yourself, it shouldn’t be too difficult.
Only a sociopath takes joy in someone dying over political disagreements.
I dislike Joe, but I hope he has a long life. Cause i'm not an evil person.

What a horrible thing to say about anyone. This guy should listen to Norm’s advice.
