MSNBC might want to sit out dunking on Rudy Giuliani’s Twitter conspiracy theory
It certainly wasn’t Rudy Giuliani’s finest moment; he typed a period in a tweet that created a live URL. Not only that; someone quickly snapped up the domain name for less than ten bucks and posted an anti-Trump message at the site.
Giuliani claimed in a tweet that Twitter was up to no good:
Twitter allowed someone to invade my text with a disgusting anti-President message. The same thing-period no space-occurred later and it didn’t happen. Don’t tell me they are not committed cardcarrying anti-Trumpers. Time Magazine also may fit that description. FAIRNESS PLEASE

Yeah, we’re pretty sure it was just a typo. MSNBC took the opportunity to dunk on Giuliani:

Most of us don’t attribute our mistakes to a nefarious political plot … but you don’t have to knock on too many doors at MSNBC to find someone who does.
Ah yes the Joy Reid defense in other words https://t.co/4KNoerwZJ6

Oh, you’re referring to the time-traveling hackers who altered the archive of her old blog to fill it with offensive posts?
no. most of us attribute them to time traveling Russians who edit our blogs years after we published them.

Did the FBI find the person who hacked Joy Reid’s blog hack?

OMG I can’t stop laughing. How is the investigation into the time travelers who hacked Joy Reid’s blog and made homophobic comments going? 🤣🤣🤣
