Robert Mueller releases new filing on Russia, and Trump tweets ‘totally clears the president’ and ‘thank you!’
Special Counsel Robert Mueller has made a new filing in the investigation into the 2016 campaign and whether the Trump campaign colluded with Russia.
The filing notes Russia reached out to the Trump campaign as far back as 2015.

Mueller also lowers the boom on Paul Manafort.

This filing from Mueller comes on a day when prosecutors recommend that former Trump lawyer Michael deserves substantial prison time, despite his cooperation with Mueller’s investigation.
