While targeting GOP Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is also starting to scare Democrats in Congress
We constantly hear just how brave Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is in facing off against those vile, evil, sexist Republicans in Congress. The press cannot help but detail every single conflict she manufactures with the GOP politicians and conservative media.
However her warrior-like image is also affecting some that may come as a surprise. It is not just crusty Republicans who tremble at the thought of AOC reprisals in social media.
Some of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's fellow Democrats reportedly live in fear of her sending a "mean-tweet" in their direction https://t.co/FiXgDg2VBe

By the looks of things journalists who exaggerate the import of Tweets have spooked some of the members of her own party.
According to Politico, the concern is AOC is focused too much on a pure, extreme-left agenda, and will only back candidates and legislation that fits her world view. When she is met with protocol resistance she lashes out on social media.

“She needs to decide: Does she want to be an effective legislator or just continue being a Twitter star?” https://t.co/PxD9lGsCeI

The concerns are not unwarranted. She does have a — let’s call it “impetuous” — streak on such matters.
New party, who dis? https://t.co/2cznisv8tB

Her devotees, of course, lap up these cream bowls of pithy nonsense, giving her the appearance of political influence.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is burning so many old politicians, it’s practically elder abuse.

To be clear, I hate Lieberman and it's hysterical that he thinks he's an expert on the party – let alone what younger generations want of their government.

Joe Lieberman will be sending his reply via the pony express and should arrive in 3-5 days.

Yes, her repeating a tired meme is a sterling example of the apex of leadership.
Heading to the bunker, unshaven and screaming to the heavens because AOC might tweet that gif of Jonah Hill doing the cut it out gesture at me.

“I knew my political career was over when the congresswoman quoted my mandatory high premium high deductible health insurance legislation with fracking subsidies using the spongebob meme.”

Agendas that can't stand up to a tweet need examining.

Okay, we’ll give you that one!
If those cowards are afraid of a freshman congressman, how could we count on them to stand up to Trump and the Republicans? 🤷🏻♂️

Validity exists here. In the Politico piece, they mention where Alexandria is maybe flexing muscles she has yet to fully develop.
Democratic leaders are upset that she railed against their new set of House rules on Twitter the first week of the new Congress. Rank and file are peeved that there’s a grassroots movement to try to win her a top committee post they feel she doesn’t deserve.
There was a lone voice in the wilderness of fawns, but that was easily shouted down..
Dear Rep. @AOC , I really liked HRC’s decision to stay low during her first years in the Senate learning the ropes of the Senate. It served her well. I believe you could benefit from the same strategy and this way avoid being the eye of so much political envy. Let ur work speak!

As “polite” as your tweet is, it is so wrong on many levels. AOC has the gumption to be herself. I like it! Her constituents like it. And I expect the old guard won’t…. honestly, is that surprising? Nope.
Now let’s change this nation!
Ps-HRC is no @AOC

When they all jump on the crazy train they fail to note what the ultimate destination will be.
This is all you need to know about why Mitch McConnell wins.
