‘I was THERE.’ James Gagliano BLISTERED Ilhan Omar for using Bush’s 9/11 comments to defend herself and WOW
As Twitchy reported, Ilhan Omar used comments Bush made just days after 9/11 to defend herself and her disrespectful comments about the largest terror attack ever to take place on American soil. She was trying to pretend Bush was as thoughtless as she was with his comments, and as you know, this didn’t go well for Ilhan.
Democrats have a real problem here but we don’t expect them to do anything about it anytime soon. What, another useless, empty apology that changes nothing? James Gagliano had perhaps the most powerful tweet of the day regarding her cheap stunt.
President Bush made this statement days after World Trade Center was reduced to rubble, as he stood atop the smoking pile. I was there.
We, in FBI, were working to determine involvement in conspiracy, following evidence.
Your false equivalency statement made 17 years later. https://t.co/7rVdgMKo0I

So in other words, sit down.
What a disrespectful harpy she is. No words. Unreal how horrible this was.
There's nothing quite as strong as saying, "I was there." You were an eye witness, and I saw it on television and was emotionally moved in Austin, Texas. I can't imagine the feelings of those in New York who saw and heard this statement.

Imagine being a New Yorker NOW and watching this junior rep saying and tweeting this stupid crap about 9/11.

And she exploited it.
Bush's words were one of the most unifying moments in our history. It's exactly what needed to be said at exactly the right place & setting. Omar's attempt at equivalency and her "cause" isn't even in the same universe as Bush on that pile of rubble.

The fact that Ilhan doesn’t understand this speaks volumes about who she really is and NONE of it’s good.
