President Trump certainly got the vote of every member of the Louisiana Eastbank All-Stars even though they are not even old enough to register.

After the suburban New Orleans youth team spent a memory-making day at the White House on Friday celebrating their win of the 2019 Little League World Series, the president took things to another level and gave them an unforgettable ride home with him on Air Force One.

Members of the championship Little League team got some amazing personal time with Trump during their White House visit, talking with him and getting photo opportunities in the Oval Office in what appeared to be a fun time for all, including the president.

But rather than end the visit with handshakes and goodbyes, the president offered the young team the chance of a lifetime and invited them to fly home aboard Air Force One.

Trump was traveling to Louisiana for a rally later that night and, after meeting up with them at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland, gave the boys a lift home they will never forget.

Once they were back in Louisiana, the champions were invited up to the podium at the Lake Charles Civic Center where Trump introduced the players one by one to the crowd.

The president told the crowd he had gotten used to seeing Japan win the annual Little League event, “but this year you have the world champions.”

Trump invited the team members to say something to the cheering crowd but only one boy stepped up to the microphone to say “thank you for all the support.” He was met with rousing applause.

“Go get ’em kids. Thanks fellas,” Trump said. “They didn’t choke and we don’t choke.”

Trump spoke at the Louisiana just one day tens of thousands turned out to see him in Minneapolis, Minnesota where he slammed House Democrats and their impeachment inquiry. He targeted them again on Friday, saying their “radical Democrat policies are crazy. The politicians are corrupt. Their candidates are terrible.”

“They know they can’t win an election so they are pursuing and illegal, invalid and unconstitutional, bulls**t impeachment,” he said to a roaring crowd.

He took aim at Democrats by name, calling out House Speaker Nancy Pelosi whom he said “hates the United States of America,” and gave a shout-out to Sen. Bernie Sanders who is recovering from a heart attack.

“Bernie was hitting a baseball to show how strong he was,” Trump remarked, referring to a video the Vermont senator and 2020 candidate posted. “But Bernie, get better fast. It’s the only time I’ve ever said anything good about him.”

Friday’s rally focused Trump’s attention on the campaign for the Republican candidates for Louisiana governor heading into Saturday’s primary election.

Though the president did not endorse either candidate, he described them as “pro-jobs, pro-worker, pro-family, pro-life, and they’re pro-Louisiana energy if that’s OK.”
