Joe Biden Confuses Wife And Sister On Super Tuesday Stage
Former Vice President Joe Biden confused his wife for his sister Tuesday night when introducing them on stage as he celebrated big wins in the Super Tuesday primaries across the country.
“By the way, this is my little sister Valerie!” Biden said as he grabbed his wife’s right hand. “And I’m Jill’s husband,” he added when reaching for his sister’s.

Biden’s slip-up on the primetime stage from California comes as Biden celebrates triumphant wins in the nationwide contests to hold their elections on Super Tuesday. Biden captured a first-place finish in Massachusetts, Minnesota, Virginia, North Carolina, Arkansas, Alabama, Tennessee, and Oklahoma. Sen. Bernie Sanders on the other hand has only won Utah, Colorado, California, and his home state of Vermont. The New England senator’s wins are also by much smaller margins, where he is expected to split the Colorado prize four ways between Biden, former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, and Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren.
Biden, the gaffe-prone candidate also made a series of slip-ups on Monday in Texas on the eve of the Super Tuesday contests where he forgot the Declaration of Independence and attempting to get the crowd excited for “Super Thursday.”
“We hold these truths to be self-evident,” Biden began. “All men and women created by- go- you know- you know the thing.”
